The Prairie State Ramblers
The Prairie State Ramblers are an old-time string band collecting fiddle tunes from Illinois and beyond, with drips of country and drops of rags. Now based in Providence, Rhode Island, they’ve played for countless square and contra dances throughout the Midwest. Band members are Mareva Lindo (fiddle/guitar/vocals), Jay Desrosiers (mandolin/guitar/vocals) and friends.
PLUS the usual suspects: Elwood Donnelly, Aubrey Atwater, Armand Aromin, Benedict Gagliardi + Flannery Brown.
