Dinner (and a show!) With The Whelks
Appetizers: A selection of meats, cheeses, and pickle-y things, featuring whelk salad (aka conch salad aka scungilli).
Native Rhode Island Quahog Chowder. Warren harvested clams freshly shucked in their liquor, with potatoes, onions, celery, fresh herbs, and a kick of red and black pepper.
Native Rhode Island Sweet Corn Chowder. Thai-inspired chowder in a corn and coconut milk broth. Fresh shucked corn, potatoes, a ginger and garlic base. Finished with Thai basil and scallions.
Green Salad. Fresh greens tossed in a light, tangy vinaigrette.
Sourdough. Fresh homemade loaves of sourdough served warm with cultured butter.
Pies! …with gelato from Prica Farina.
